Sierra Moore is a science communications specialist at Van Andel Institute. In her role, she helps translate complex scientific information into content that is more engaging and accessible to the public. She assists in writing various communications materials including science explainers, research highlights and website content.

Sierra earned her M.A. in health and risk communication from Michigan State University and her B.A. in biology from Kalamazoo College.
