Katelyn Becker earned a B.S in biology from Lee University, and M.S. in Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Tennessee, where her research focused on protein dynamics in aminoglycoside phosphotransferase(3’)-IIIa. After graduation, Katelyn joined VAI as a member of the Ma Laboratory, where she worked first as a research technician, and was then promoted to Lab manager. Katelyn joined VAI’s Genomics Core in March, 2020.
