Experience: Prior to joining the dual-degree program at Van Andel Institute Graduate School, Abigail studied molecular pathways that define neural development as well as those that define the cellular features of metastatic potential in soft-tissue sarcomas at Washington University in St. Louis. Upon moving to Grand Rapids, she completed the first half of medical school at Michigan State University.
