Gimme’s Downtown Chili Throwdown
Kick-start November with a chili cookoff!
Join us for the inaugural Gimme’s Downtown Chili Throwdown hosted by Gimme’s Par & Grill. Local restaurants and chefs will come together for some friendly competition all in pursuit of scientific breakthroughs at Van Andel Institute. All proceeds benefit VAI’s biomedical research and education programs.
Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Kids 10 and under eat free!

Ready to put your chili to the test? Local restaurants are invited to compete by bringing two large batches of chili:
- One traditional chili
- One unique or creative chili
Sample-sized portions of each batch should serve up to 450 guests. Don’t forget to bring your marketing materials to showcase your restaurant or contact information!
