
Biography
Kate completed her undergraduate degree in biomedical sciences from Newcastle University and M.Sc. in genetics of human disease from University College London (UCL). She has past experience working as a biocurator at UCL following on from her M.Sc. project curating miRNAs acting on junctional proteins of the Blood-Brain Barrier. She spent five years at King’s College London (KCL) working with teams at both the Wolfson Centre for Age-Related Disease and the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience.
