Imaging, Histology and Diagnostic Pathology Services

The Analytical Cellular and Molecular Microscopy laboratory is equipped with all the necessary light microscopy equipment and instrumentation for the preparation of paraffin and frozen sections. In addition we are able to provide laser capture microdissection and vibratome preparations. We have two trained research pathologists on staff (Rick Hay, Ph.D., M.D., and Jim Resau, Ph.D.) as well as a collaborating specialist in veterinary anatomical pathology to provide diagnostic services and interpretation of cytology and histology. We work collaboratively as well as on a fee for service basis to provide cost effective and high quality histopathology services. We also offer diagnostic and pathology consultations.
