Origins of Cancer: Honoring Dr. George Vande Woude, an Oncogene Pioneer

The 2022 symposium will honor the late Dr. George Vande Woude, the Institute’s founding research director and a groundbreaking scientist whose discovery of the MET oncogene revolutionized our understanding of cancer. VAI Epigenomics Workshop

The VAI Epigenomics Workshop is a three-day, hands-on, problem-based experience that will immerse graduate students in the latest epigenomic research and techniques. Topics include epigenetics in health and disease, leveraging epigenomics tools (such as ChIP-seq, genome browsers and DNA methylation analysis), and strategies for integrating epigenomics data with other data types.
