Van Andel Institute Public Lecture Series: Educating through a Pandemic

December 10 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

When the severity of the COVID-19 pandemic became clear, schools closed their doors practically overnight. Educators worked quickly to transition lessons to accommodate distance learning and found themselves facing one unexpected challenge after another.

The approaching school year brings more uncertainty. Despite many unknowns and much stress, teachers everywhere continue to dedicate themselves to their students and are crafting meaningful, memorable learning experiences.

Learn about what works (and what doesn’t) in a distance learning environment. Hear from teachers about the challenges they face with remote and distance learning. Discover how VAI is helping teachers innovate instruction so learning doesn’t miss a beat, even during a pandemic.
