The 6th floor showrooms at Chicago’s Merchandise Mart and Van Andel Institute are coming together to support cancer research. On
September 7, 2017, the Institute will host Designs on a Cure—an event bringing luxury and science together for an evening you won’t forget.

Guests will explore the 6th floor residential showrooms experiencing extraordinary interior design. Enjoy delectable hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, meet VAI’s researchers, take a chance on chic raffle items and dance to a hot DJ in the halls of the legendary Merchandise Mart. All for an incredible cause.

If you have a passion for great design, life-changing research and the bustling energy in the city of big shoulders, you’re going to want to join us for Designs on a Cure.

Creative casual attire is suggested. RSVP’s are appreciated by September 1.

You will view Maya Romanoff’s newest collections, watch the creation of hand painted wallcoverings, and absorb the past, present and future of this storied company. After your tour, Joyce will take you out for dinner to enjoy great food and great conversation (Tour date and dinner location will be scheduled based on the preferences and geographic location of the raffle winner). A discounted parking rate is available at Mart Parc Wells at the 401 North Wells Street location for Thursday September 7, 2017. This discounted rate is $12 and is available from 3 PM to 12 AM. We will have validation tickets for the discounted rate available at the event.
