You are invited to step back in time and tour a piece of West Michigan’s history. Dating back to 1860, the Fisher House, was once home to affluent land developer, A.W. Fisher, and lived several lives in the 1900s as a girl’s school, music school and funeral home. After being vacant for a number of years, local designer and owner of JEFFERY ROBERTS DESIGN, Jeffery Roberts, purchased and restored Fisher House — resulting in a breathtaking Grand Rapids home.
Plan to expect the unexpected during this exclusive evening that will feature a guided tour of the house and its history, a strolling dinner, cocktails and live entertainment by AB. Guests will also get a glimpse at the recently launched JEFFERY ROBERTS Furniture Collection.
After 30 years of creating custom works, Jeffery Roberts’ self-titled collection is at long last coming to market. Inspired by a lifetime assortment of found or observed objects — rare, forgotten finds discovered in corners of nature, industry and architecture — the JEFFERY ROBERTS Furniture Collection pulls details from life. The color of a sparrow’s feather. The twist of a hand-carved chair leg. The ornate moldings of generations past. These seemingly insignificant elements are now given purpose in a larger story.
