Histotripsy uses ultrasound waves to disrupt tumors and elicit an immune response\, which helps the body better fight cancer cells. He is a professor in Van Andel Institute’s Department of Cell Biology\, chief medical officer of University of Michigan Health-West and a professor at the University of Michigan.
