SUMMARY:2026 Art for a Cure
DESCRIPTION:Color outside the lines with Van Andel Institute’s Student Ambassadors at Art for a Cure\, a unique evening combining science\, education and art — all in the name of raising funds for biomedical research. Art for a Cure will take place on Thursday\, March 26\, 6–8 p.m.\, at VAI. \nArt for a Cure is a fundraiser organized by VAI’s Student Ambassadors — a group of passionate\, emerging leaders from across West Michigan. These students are drawn to making a difference in their community by supporting research into diseases like cancer and Parkinson’s while learning valuable skills in marketing and event planning. \nAt the center of the event will be a silent auction featuring art pieces from students and up-and-coming artists from Grand Rapids. You’ll also get to mingle with dedicated student leaders while getting an inside look at the Institute. All proceeds from Art for a Cure benefit biomedical research at Van Andel Institute. \nThe cost to attend the event is $10 for adults. Children under the age of 18 are free. \nLight refreshments will be provided.
