Van Andel Institute hosting ‘Better Together’ event for educators

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — January 3, 2022 — As we all step into 2022, Van Andel Institute for Education (VAI) is reaffirming its commitment to educators and students alike by providing the support they need to thrive in the coming months and into the next school year. VAI invites administrators, including superintendents, principals, assistant principals, and coaches from all districts, to attend Better Together, a one-hour virtual event on February 2 at 4:30 p.m. ET, to learn and share best practices for creating winning school improvement plans for the 2022-23 school year.

While administrators around the country are still grappling with the challenges of educating during a pandemic, successful school improvement plans remain as important as ever and plans are not going to write themselves. Topics of discussion will include:

  • • Funding Considerations
  • • Goal Setting and Prioritization
  • • Resource Identification and Allocation
  • • Effective Communication of Plan

Attendees will receive a physical package to complement the event, as well as access to resources that can support them and their teachers. We promise the session will be both informative AND enjoyable. While the 2022-23 school year may prove challenging, obstacles can be overcome when we work together. Registration is now open.
