Free at-home activities, lessons for K-12 students during COVID-19 school closures

Schools across Michigan are closed amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. In this period of uncertainty, adults may wonder how they can step up to keep nurturing their youngsters’ curiosity, creativity and critical thinking skills.

Van Andel Institute for Education is curating a list of free activities and resources adults can use with the K-12 children in their care. The list includes science experiments and engineering challenges, math and reading lessons, as well as activities that can help students make a difference in their community.
