Han-Mo Koo Seminar Series

Van Andel Institute hosts speakers from some of the most respected academic, federal, and private research institutes in the nation through its Han-Mo Koo Seminar Series, dedicated to the memory of VAI Principal Investigator Han-Mo Koo (right), who passed away in 2004 following a six-month battle with cancer. Han-Mo Koo joined Van Andel Research Institute in 1999 as head of the Laboratory of Cancer Pharmacogenetics, in which he established, among others, projects to study melanoma and pancreatic cancer.
