Thawing and Expansion of ES Cell Clones

  1. After the customer has identified the positive ES cell clones by Southern blot analysis or PCR, five clones will be thawed and expanded.  Additional clones will be thawed at additional expense.
  2. Cryopreserved ES cell stocks will be prepared from each positive clone and double-banked.
  3. DNA will be isolated from each positive clone for secondary confirmation or archival storage by the customer.
  4. The DNA samples or ES cell frozen stocks will be shipped to the customer by FedEx at the customer’s expense.
