Transgene Localization

Transgene localization is a process of identifying the chromosomal locus of a transgene that has integrated into the genome by using a combination of FISH and SKY.

Investigator responsibilities: 

  1. Provide fixed, frozen, or actively growing cells, and transgenic DNA. 
  2. Complete a project application.
  3. Van Andel Research Institute (VARI) requires a signed service agreement prior to initiating any project. The service agreement will be sent to you prior to starting the project. Once the agreement has been completed, signed and sent back to VARI, we will begin the project.
