Grand Rapids, Mich. (March 18, 2010) – David Van Andel, Chairman and CEO of Van Andel Institute, announces the following executive staff changes and promotions effective March 15, 2010:
- Chief Financial Officer Jack Frick has been named Chief Administrative Officer. Frick will continue to oversee the divisions of procurement, IT, and grants and contracts. In addition, he will now also oversee the divisions of security, facilities, and construction.
- Finance Director and Controller Tim Myers becomes Chief Financial Officer.
- Human Resources Director Linda Zarzecki has been promoted to Vice President of Human Resources and has been given broader responsibilities including executive recruitment.
- Joe Gavan, Vice President, Communications and Development, adds governmental affairs and community relations to his current list of responsibilities. His new title, Vice President, Communications and External Relations, reflects that change.
