The first annual Michigan Research Ethics Conference at Van Andel Institute is for anyone interested in Human Subject Research Protections.

Topics will include flexibility within the regulations, tissue banking, improving informed consent, community engagement and participation in research (panel), the IRB's role in evaluating design and scientific merit, research involving children, interpreting the regulations for social behavioral research, determining when research is subject to FDA regulations, conflict of interest, data security and how IRBs make decisions/criteria for approval/assessing risk. 

Registration is CLOSED. Please note that onsite registration will not be offered for this event.
