The West Michigan Whitecaps are hosting a Community for a Cure night to support cancer research at Van Andel Institute (VAI)! A portion of the proceeds from all ticket sales at the August 4 game will support cancer research at Van Andel Institute. Join us for an exciting evening at the ballpark to celebrate the teams and communities who have supported cancer research at VAI. Because what’s summer without baseball, hotdogs, and purple fun?

25 or more people will be recognized on the field!

Have attendees who are supporting your school
bring a Community for a Cure tag to the game

The fun starts at 6:00 p.m.; the game begins at 7:00 p.m. The evening will include:

  • West Michigan Whitecaps vs. Great Lakes Loons
  • BirdZerk!
  • Fireworks
  • Fun Family Activities
  • Concessions, including purple cotton candy
  • And more!
