In honor of National Lab Day, the Van Andel Education Institute (VAEI) Science Academy is offering a day of inquiry for 4th and 5th grade teachers. During this day, you will be immersed in the teaching and learning of life science through inquiry.
The inquiry immersion will be based on the Michigan Grade Level Content Expectations (GLCEs) for fourth and fifth grade science. As a participating teacher, you will design and carry out investigations to answer questions that interest you.
Lunch and a tour of Van Andel Research Institute will also be provided. VAEI will not cover the cost of the substitutes for the day.
