Student Intern - Business Development

Description:
A 10-week summer student intern position is available in the Business Development Department reporting to the Technology Transfer Manager. Duties will include performing web-based research of other Technology Transfer offices, preparing a standardized template and catalog of VARI technology sell sheets, and performing other basic market reports on technologies. The start date for this position is either Monday, May 12, 2008 or Monday, June 9, 2008.

Requirements:

Qualified applicants must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited college or university; have completed two to four years of college (equivalent to 48 or more credit hours) with a major in business; possess marketing skills. Prefer MBA student with marketing skills. Biological sciences or chemistry experience is a plus.

Student will be offered parking in the Michigan Street Development parking structure, contingent upon availability, for $15.00 per parking pass.

Position Status:   Student Intern

Salary:   $9.00 to $12.00 per hour (pay rate based on years of college completed)
