Adapting to U.S. Culture
When we send you your DS-2019, we will enclose a pamphlet called, Introduction to American Life. This pamphlet is directed toward foreign students who will be studying at American universities but contains information you may find helpful as you prepare for your trip and become oriented with American life and culture.
Chinese nationals should go to Pre-departure Orientation for Chinese Students
, which is designed for Chinese students attending American universities and also may contain helpful information in understanding American culture.
The Asian Center
can also be helpful to Asian employees working in West Michigan.
