Stipend and Benefits

Students in the doctoral program at VAI Graduate School will be supported by institutional fellowships for five years. The student's support is not dependent on the mentor’s research grants. 

VAI Graduate School doctoral students will be eligible to participate in an excellent healthcare insurance plan corresponding to that available to Van Andel Institute employees.

Each student will also receive financial support to attend at least one scientific conference each year.
