VAIGS organizational structure

Van Andel Institute (VAI) serves as the supporting organization for Van Andel Research Institute (VARI) and Van Andel Education Institute (VAEI).

VARI conducts biomedical research with a focus on cancer and neurodegenerative diseases and with an emphasis on translating scientific research results into clinical applications.

VAEI is the administrative center for VAI Graduate School, K-12 science education and programs that provide educational opportunities for college students in the research laboratories.

VAI Graduate School brings together key aspects of the missions of VARI and VAEI, resulting in a unique environment, distinguished faculty and an exciting opportunity for our students!
